3 Axle Bulk Cement Tank Trailer
Product Details
|
Built to shift 45 m3 of dry bulk powder per load - cement, fly ash, lime dust, and mineral fines - this 3-axle pneumatic tanker combines a Q235A 5 mm shell with a 6 mm spherical end cap, Q345B submerged-arc backbone, and BPW or FUWA 13-ton tri-axle running gear. A direct-drive 37 kW screw compressor pushes 12 m3/min at 0.2 MPa out through top-mounted 500 mm hatchways fitted with breather valves and an inline emergency stop. |

3 Axle Bulk Cement Tank Trailer - Product Details
Produced in China for dry powder logistics across Africa and the Middle East, these bulk tankers are purpose-engineered to survive daily cycling of abrasive media at pressure. From humid port storage yards to the interior of a fluidized tank mid-discharge, every material choice and weld detail accounts for the reality that cement, fly ash, and mineral powder are not gentle cargo.
|
Q235A Shell, Spherical Rear Dome The 5 mm Q235A steel tank body is capped with a 6 mm ball-profile rear plate that handles internal pressure peaks without concentrating stress at the weld seam. Operators who run weight-sensitive routes can specify an aluminum tank instead, trading a small cost premium for roughly 1.5 to 2 tonnes of extra legal payload per trip. |
30, 45, or 70 Cubic Metre Tank Sizes The standard tank holds 45 m3, but the platform scales from a compact 30 m3 configuration for weight-limited secondary roads up to a 70 m3 high-volume unit for port-to-silo shuttle work. In every size, a single pneumatic load replaces dozens of bagged-cement pallets: zero packaging cost, zero torn sacks at the discharge point, zero labour stacking and cutting bags. |
|
Gravity Fill, Compressed-Air Empty Loading happens through an overhead hatch fed by gravity from the silo - no auger, no bucket elevator, no moving parts on the fill side. Unloading relies on the PTO-driven 37 kW compressor (1000 r/min, 0.2 MPa working pressure) that aerates the powder column and pushes it out the discharge line. Three 500 mm manhole lids with vent valves give access for washout between incompatible products like cement and fly ash. |
Inline Emergency Stop and Anti-Spill Hose A single-action emergency shut-off valve, accessible from the operator position, kills material flow immediately if a hose ruptures or a silo over-pressurises. The discharge hose is selected to minimise dust release at the receiving point - especially important when unloading fine fly ash, which becomes airborne at far lower flow velocities than cement powder or mineral fines. |

Why Choose Our Cement Tank Trailer
|
Drawn to Your Spec, Not Ours Pick your tank size between 30 and 70 m3, your preferred axle from BPW or FUWA, and the compressor output that suits your discharge-speed target. We build the bulk cement tank trailer around those choices - you are not limited to whatever happens to be sitting in a stockyard. |
Ex-Works Pricing, No Middleman Markup Because you buy from the factory that produces the cement tanker, the price you see is the price you pay - no agent margin, no trader commission, no surprise line items on the invoice. That leaves more budget for the parts and options that actually improve your per-tonne transport margin. |
|
Round-the-Clock Help for Your Fleet When a compressor throws a belt or a breather valve stops sealing, your plant manager does not want to wait until Monday. Our support line stays open 24/7 and the person who answers can identify the compressor in your chassis file and tell you which spare to pull from the parts kit we shipped with the trailer. |
Production Slots You Can Count On A smooth production line and long-standing forwarder relationships mean the cement tank trailer leaves the factory gate within the window quoted in your order confirmation - whether it is headed to Lagos, Jeddah, Jakarta, or Luanda. Your revenue only starts when the truck arrives; we plan backward from that date. |

Packaging and Shipping
|
Breakbulk, Ro-Ro, or Flat Rack Depending on how many units you order and where the destination port sits, the cement tanker goes by bulk carrier, drive-on/drive-off vessel, or lashed to a flat-rack container. Before any of that, every exposed steel face gets a marine-grade wax coat - tank shell, main beam, axle housings, landing gear legs. |
Compressor and Valve Sign-Off Before Loading The compressor is run at full load, the discharge pipe is held at test pressure, and every hatch seal and breather is checked for tightness before the trailer is cleared for transport. The signed test sheet ships with your documents - so you know the tanker arrived sealed, not the port agent's guess. |

FAQ
Can the compressor be uprated past 37 kW?
Yes. The standard 37 kW unit (12 m3/min at 0.2 MPa) is sized for typical cement-powder duty, but operators who want to cut discharge time on thick fly ash or who run long hose runs can request a larger compressor and matching PTO specification. Tell us your target discharge rate and we will size the upgrade.
How do you switch the tank between cement and fly ash service?
Crew access the tank interior through the three 500 mm hatchways to sweep down the fluidized bed and walls after each product change. The breather valves prevent a vacuum forming while the tank is being cleaned with compressed air. A thorough washout between incompatible powders avoids cross-contamination that could cause a load rejection at the receiving silo.
Is an aluminum shell an option?
It is. While the standard cement tanker ships with a Q235A carbon steel body, an aluminum alloy shell cuts empty weight by roughly 1.5 to 2 tonnes - directly increasing the legal payload on routes where axle-load scales are enforced. The cost difference is modest compared to the extra revenue from heavier loads over the trailer's service life.
How fast does a full 45 m3 load discharge?
A complete 45 m3 cement powder load usually empties in 30 to 45 minutes with the 37 kW compressor at full output, though the actual time varies with silo height, hose diameter, and product density. Heavy cement (1.2-1.4 t/m3) flows under pressure more readily than light fly ash (0.6-0.8 t/m3), which requires more air volume to achieve the same mass flow.
What does the compressor need for routine upkeep?
Oil change every 500 operating hours, air filter swap every 1,000 hours under normal site conditions. We include a spare filter and drive belts with the tanker. If the trailer works in a heavy-dust zone like a cement grinding plant yard, cut the filter interval to 500 hours - fine powder loading will choke a filter faster than the manual predicts, and a clogged intake starves the compressor of the air volume it needs to move product.
Compressor spares come with the trailer - let us build your configuration.
About Us
|
A China Tanker Factory Serving Africa and the Middle East We design and build 3-axle dry-bulk pneumatic tankers for markets where reliable powder logistics make the difference between a construction project that stays on programme and one that stalls waiting for cement. Our trailers move cement, pulverised fly ash, hydrated lime, mineral filler, and granular feedstocks from silo to batch plant, port to project site, across the regions where bagged cement still dominates because the right bulk equipment was not available locally. That is changing - and our tankers are part of that shift. We stand behind every unit with a spare-parts supply line, technical support that answers the phone, and a factory door that stays open to buyers who want to walk the production line before they commit. |
