Dongfeng concrete mixer truck (also commonly called a cement mixer) is a device that uniformly combines aggregates such as cement, sand or gravel, and water to form concrete. A typical concrete mixer uses a rotating drum to mix the components. For smaller volume projects, portable concrete mixers are often used so that the concrete can be made on the job site, allowing workers enough time to work with the concrete before it hardens.
The mixing drum will keep rotating during transportation to ensure that the concrete will not be set. After the concrete is delivered, the inside of the mixing drum is usually cleaned with water to prevent the hardened concrete from taking up space.
The concrete mixer truck is composed of a car chassis, a mixing drum, a transmission system, a water supply device, a full-power power take-off, a front and rear support of the mixing drum, a reducer, a hydraulic transmission system, a feeding and unloading system, and an operating mechanism.
The working principle of the mixer truck: the power of the car chassis is taken out by the power take-off device, which drives the variable pump of the hydraulic system, and the mechanical energy is converted into hydraulic energy, which is transmitted to the quantitative motor. The motor drives the reducer, and the reducer drives the mixing device to mix on the concrete.
